Reimagining Mataura Full Stakeholder Site Visit – Wednesday 14th June
As part of the full stakeholder wānanga, a site visit to the Diamond Peak gravel extraction site was held to demonstrate some of the current project work in progress. Over 60 attendees from industry, community, and central and local government groups were present.
Fulton Hogan hosted the afternoon and provided a full walkover of the site, noting the completed wetland project, and introducing the future gravel extraction and braided river restoration project. A link to a video created by Tahu News, who attended the site visit, can be found here.
